Our goal is to provide the most relaxing day on the lake we can. We provide an exceptional opportunity to get out on the water of Portage Lakes. Whether you want dinner and a sunset cruise, playing in and on the water or a night at the bars, we've got you covered.
Bookings up to 6 people will assure your private water limo has plenty of room. Our 2023 Bennington offers space and comfort you won't find with other pontoon rentals. And then you still have to drive, take a test and assume the liability for their boat. Our boat is clean, comfortable and you're worry free. It's crazy out there folks. Join us for some much deserved rest, mental wellness, and a deeper connection to nature. We believe that spending time on the water provides the connection you need to let it all go, soak up the sun and feel refreshed. That's our goal and we strive to make it accessible to all.

Shenanigans on Portage Lakes, provides our guests with guided excursions out on the lakes. Weather it’s a Friday night out with your work buddies, floating on tubes, or a day on the water fishing, we’ve got you covered. Ride along with us and we‘ll keep your group private. The boat and the driver are yours. Visit the bars, we’ll wait for you and move on to the next. Diner date? We have some great restaurants and the drinks are cold. We’ll drop you off, wait and then escort you to the next destination.

After a long day, a trip around the lake exploring the bar scene is just what you need. Take in some music and libations and leave the stress behind. You and your pals will be escorted to the on water destinations of your choice. Stay at one or visit them all. Shenanigans will provide the ride.

Renting an Air B&B or VRBO In Portage Lakes? You don’t need all the supplies to go play in the water. Bachelor or bachelorette party? Just let us know you want some water toys. A Bluetooth speaker and the water feels fine! Enjoy!
Do you fish?
Portage Lakes offers some of the best fishing in Ohio. The chain of 5 lakes covers over 1600 acres. Largemouth bass, catfish, black and white crappie, trout or even some walleye have been pulled from these lakes. Tho Shenanigans is not a “fishing” pontoon set up, it’s comfortable for small groups. Great for teaching your kids the joy of fishing!

Hi, I’m Jon. I’ll be your host for the day. I grew up in this area having attended Medina High and Kent State. I am 66, and proud father of 5, and grandpa to 5. I retired 8 years ago following a Hodgkins Lymphoma diagnosis. That sure helps you appreciate the beauty of life and the outdoors. Let‘s go for a ride!

We love Shenanigans on the lake! Perfect when you want to have all the fun & being responsible! We booked for a birthday adventure & met up with other friends on their boat for a perfect day of floating, cruising, bar hopping & a relaxing sunset. Don't know all the lakes have to offer? Jon is your guy! Highly recommend!

The opportunity to take my 5 year old son fishing was exceptional. Working long hours, it was great to just show up and fish! John was an excellent host and guide. His patience with both of us made us beyond comfortable. He laughed with us and gave us some great guidance. We’ll be back again soon!

Felt like we owned a boat! Took an early morning coffee ride with a few friends. Absolutely loved the lake so early in the day. It was like our private boat on a private lake. We recharged for the week ahead and could not have enjoyed our host more. Thank you Jon.

Our family went out for together time floating. We needed it more than we knew. NO ELECTRONICS! We actually talked, laughed and got tan! It was great. Jon was great and the boat is really nice. So relaxing. Highly recommend!
